How this full time businessman is earning 50% p.a. from stock market trading by devoting just 5-10 mins everyday

Did you know one of the most searched topics on Google is “Passive income Ideas in India.” Earning while sleeping is a dream of many but only a handful achieve it.  The most common passive income sources are rental income, royalty through books, stock dividend, you tube channel, etc. While rental income and stock dividend requires huge initial capital, the rest require in depth expertise in particular domain. For people just starting it can be a big turn off unless they follow Ayush Garg.

Ayush is a full-time businessman and a part time options trader. He just spends 5-10 mins every day checking the Stock Market in his phone and still manages to earn 1% of his total capital every week only through trading. That adds to around 50% every year!

Hailing from a tier 3 city and having lost his dad at the age of just 21, he thought all his dreams were shattered as now he must look after his family business and leave everything aside. But sheer persistence and with the help of some higher power he was able to walk on the path of financial freedom through stock markets without disrupting the course of his life.

He took a serious plunge in the stock market when he joined an online stock market course paying a hefty 40000 Rupees. From that moment onwards there was no looking back, not because what he learnt there made him successful but because now his sole mission was to recover his money spent anyhow. So he took up the initiative to learn trading himself and it took him more than two years to master it.

“The issue with all courses in general is that they focus on people who can devote at least 2-3 hrs. of screen time which is not possible for working professionals specially those who have a 9-5 job. Also, they teach strategies which do not work most of the time but looks good on paper. These courses are plain scams because the people who teach them are themselves loss making traders and hence, they refrain from showing their profit and loss statement. Also, trading is a psychological game and learning through prerecorded videos is as good as self-learning through youtube videos only. If trading in options, people should do option selling as probability of making money is much higher than option buying even though capital required is more.”

He is an option seller and strongly believes that anyone can make passive income through option selling if proper risk management and position sizing is followed. If not, there can be huge losses. In this financial year he has already made a profit of approx. 7 lacs on a capital of 20 lacs with 4 months still left for the year to end. This is only from trading income and the capital gains on stock investment is a bonus.

On being asked about his golden strategy, he told us that he follows a framework which he fondly calls      “ Sell the Irrationality “ framework. He says, “The markets are not always rational and we identify gaps in this irrationality to enter into trades. These gaps provide a good risk to reward ratio with high probability. Only thing required is patience and a keen eye for observation.”

On being asked about his inspiration for this strategy he says “It took me two years of trial and error to figure this out. All the successful traders I personally know are full time traders and hence their strategy is also catered for people who can devote time to the markets. I could not find anything for me other than the basics.”

Finally concluding out meeting we asked about his future goals to which he responded, “ I want to help more people who too are stuck in a similar situation like I was few years back by mentoring them personally so that they can save their precious time and money. I manage both my business and trading successfully and like me anyone else can do it.”
